Badhusa

Badhusa is one of the simplest and easy to make delicious sweet.Whenever I feel like having sweet I make this one or kesari,because it consumes very very little time.You won`t feel like over dosed even if u had 4-5 badhusa at a time because of it mild sweetness.Do try this simplest sweet and make your special day sweeter with this.





Ingredients.
For Badhusa
All purpose Flour/Maida-1 and 1/2 cup
Curd-1 and 1/2 tsp
Butter+Oil-1/4 cup
Cooking Soda-a pinch
Sugar - 1 tsp
Oil-for deep frying 
Water-as required

For the syrup
Sugar-1 cup
Elachi powder-1 tsp
Lemon juice-1-2 tsp

Lets prepare the syrup first 
Add sugar,elachi powder and water (just to immerse the sugar) in a pan and prepare the syrup for one string consistency.

Then for badhusa,Mix curd,butter,oil,cooking soda,sugar well with a beater.
Now add maida to it and mix it well.You will get scramble like this.
Add little water to it and make it as a dough.Knead the dough well for min 10 min to get a smooth texture.

Now shape the badhusa like this and keep it ready for deep frying.
Its time for deep frying.Fry it in a medium flame till it becomes golden brown color and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Drop it in the sugar syrup and let it absorb the syrup.Let it soak in the syrup for 5-10 min then remove it and place it in a plate and allow it to cool.
Serve it with saffron and nuts topping(optional).For best result allow it to cool for 1-2 hr in room temperature and serve.Do not refrigerate or freeze.
