Pani puri is one of the favourite chat items for everyone today.I too like it very much but there was lot of news regarding the preparation of this puri which makes me to avoid having it outside.So one day I tried it at home and it turn out well.My hubby is not a big fan of chat items.Since this one was a home made one,he tried it with out any hesitation and started loving it a lot.There is no big mantra in making this dish.What all you need is just a passion and a bit patience to fry this puri.
Ingredients
Sooji rava-1 cup
Maida-1 tsp
Salt-to taste
Warm water-3to 4 tsp
Oil- as required
Preparation method
Take sooji rava in a bowl.Add salt and a teaspoon of oil and give it a nice mix.
Now add warm water to the mixer just to the amount of make the sooji wet (remember don't add too much of water).Then add maida to the mixer and neat it like a chapati dough.
Apply oil over the dough and keep it aside for 30 min.
Now make small dough out of it.
Roll it just like how you do your chappathis and make small chappathis out of it using a cap
All Done
Now heat the oil and drop the small chappathis into it.
Flip it over to the other side and fry it till it becomes golden brown in color Drain the excess oil using paper towel
Look at this Beauties,its fluffy,crispy and yummy.
Note:
Make sure your is not too hot otherwise the puri will become soggy.
Fry it in a medium or low flame for best result.You can store it in a air tight container for a week.
