Dhahi Puri is one of my sisi`s favorite recipe.Whenever she visits A2B this one will be her first order.And from her the mania passed to me and everyone in the family and we all love it.But post pregnancy there is a restriction for me from my hubby, to eat any outside foods.But I can`t control myself from having this,so he bought it for me one day from the same A2B and to my bad luck it turns out to food poison for my and suffered for 3 days.Then I thought why not do it at home and tried this at home.To my surprise it was a big hit and now a days I don`t like to have it at outside. Believe me it taste yummy than the outside one,moreover you no need to worry about your health,since its home made with known ingredients.
Ingredients
Puri-10 nos(Recipe Here)
For topping
Green chutney-as required (Recipe Here)
Dates & Turmarind chutney-as required (recipe Here)
Unsoured curd-1 cup
Black Salt- to taste
Sugar-1tsp
Kara Boondi or Sev-as required
For stuffing
Boiled mashed potatoes-2 nos
Finely chopped small onions-3 nos
Chopped Green chilli-1
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
jeera powder-1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaf-1/2 cup
Preparation method
Make the puri ready first.(recipe here)
Then prepare the stuffing by mix the potatoes,onions,green chilli,coriander leaf,chilli powder,jeera powder and salt.
Make holes in the puri for the stuffing and Arrange the puris in a serving plate.Now fill the puri with the stuffing.
Mix salt and sugar to the curd,then whisk it to a smooth creamy texture.Pour the curd,then green chutney and dates chutney one by one over the stuffed plated puris.Sprinkle coriander leaf and kara Boondi over the plated puris.
Enjoy the yummy Dhahi puri.
